Upgrade to the Honeymoon suite with top up of RM100nett to the existing rate we are holding. We love the fireplace, sofa area, poster bed beautifully decorated and spacious washroom - all delicately designed. The room furniture are so classic. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and customer orientated. They give more than we asked.
In the deluxe room, there is no TV at all. With the price of RM500 per night, I think we deserved to have the TV, and not sharing with other people in the living room.

This hotel was a luxurious retreat with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all our needs. The service was exceptional, exceeding our expectations. The BBQ facilities and garden area were perfect for a relaxing outdoor experience. The leisure/TV room was perfect for downtime, and the breakfast served in-room was delicious. The private facilities and the sun terrace were an added bonus. We loved the location and enjoyed the peaceful and clean environment.
The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of a bar/lounge area. Despite this, the restaurant was superb, and the picnic area/tables were perfect for groups.

The service and ambiance. For someone who wants some serious R&R, this is definitely the ideal place for it! The hotel's design, service, food, environment, everything has been designed specifically to let you let go and enjoy yourself. You have no choice but to wind down and relax. Perfect as an oasis especially for those who wants to escape from the busy city lifestyle. Grab your favorite book (or ipad as there is free wifi), put on your most comfortable clothes and get ready to relax!
If you love shopping, exciting entertainment, and in-house movies, then this is not the place for you. The most exciting fun you can find is jungle trekking that is provided by the hotel. They do provide other day trips tours, but since they are located away from town, it takes some traveling time to get there.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The attention to detail and the value for money were exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The location in a magnificent valley added to the charm of the hotel. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, with a lovely 4-poster bed.
All in all, everything was fine.

The staff is going at lenghts to make your stay pleasant
We expected something else than a muddy lake in front of the house. Climate is changing and wet season is 11 months now so a lot of mud is sliding down the streams into the river feeding the lake.

The Lakehouse made our stay in the English countryside truly magical. The quaint English cottage-style architecture created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were lucky to have cool, rainy weather during our visit, which made the beautiful view of the lake even more enchanting. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The food served was delicious, leaving us completely satisfied. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and charming escape to the English countryside.

The place was amazing. The decor was very charming, and everything was so relaxing. The staff was very friendly, the service superb. The room was lovely - I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed! The nearby jungle walk was charming, and the tours they arrange are very nice as well. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but you don't have to eat there every night - go to Tanah Rata and try one of the restaurants there!
There's not much to complain about. If I had to think of something it would be the fact that we had to continuously ask the staff to refill the breakfast table. It's a bit annoying, but not a big deal. And our taxi back to kk was delayed because of a misunderstanding - again not a big deal.

The hotel had a beautiful, traditional English-style interior with interesting decor and a peaceful terrace and garden overlooking a lake. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a coffee machine and bath salts provided. The staff were generally accommodating.
The dining experience was underwhelming, with bland and unexciting food and poor restaurant service. The staff also began clearing tables for breakfast before all diners had finished their meal.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
